ldh's review I have mixed feelings about this show. On one hand, Woody Allen is as sharp as ever with a funny critique of rising, often pseudo, social consciousness in this country which is, if you lived in the 70's, nothing really new. The high level story and writing here are really fun. But the characters got on my nerves so quickly! I was cringing during every single scene with Miley Cyrus, and even Woody Allen himself got on my nerves after a couple of episodes which what i thought was a repetitive shtick. Midway through the 6 episodes, the whole setup felt repetitive and started to drag on. - Laurent Hasson |
