I cringed more than once when watching this film. From its neurotic portrayal of Jews, to its simplistic portrayal of racism and anti-semitism, to its totally mistimed and unrealistic happy ending around the key part of the film which is about a bi-sexual woman coming to terms with her preferences. This film simply feels, at every proverbial turn of the camera crank, totally manufactured, as if written by committee where everyone wants to have a message in the final product, without the time and resources to polish it right. It's ends up with a mess of twitter-length feel good lines that are superficial, incoherent, and amount to nothing substantive. At least, it had good performances overall and was decently made technically speaking.
