ldh's review A let down. Luca Guadagnino is an amazing director, and this is one of the best horror premise in a long time, with a great cast and overall art direction. But in the end, i kept seeing a Vampire movie, not a Cannibal movie. The film's biggest fault is that it was not able to invent a new world with such a "species" of human cannibals and fully flesh it out. There is not enough world building for such a cool concept and approach to the genre. Pity. - Laurent Hasson |
