Batman Begins remains the top player this week, and had great numbers for a second weekend. In spite of a slow start, if a $70M can be called slow, the movie is holding very well as the reviews are good and word of mouth seems to be very good. The movie has also pulled $80M internationally and crossed the $200M mark worldwide.

Bewitched opened in ine with the revised expectations. Given the bad reviews, the movie is expected to fall apart quickly and not recover its $80M budget.

Mr. And Mrs. Smith continues to do well and added almost $17M this weekend. It now sits above $125M.Herbie: Fully Loaded is a disappointment with barely $13M in its opening weekend. Bad reviews, the controversies surrounding Lindsey Lohan are not helping.

George A. Romero's Land of the Dead, the 4th volume in the Living Dead series managed to pull $10M. George A. Romero has a devoted following, and the movie has good reviews overall. Given the low 15M budget, it should make a decent profit when al is said and done.
